This is the first time we've offered our Monthong fruit, which can be quite large. It's a bit of a wildcard in terms of flavor and texture... something for the adventurous durian lover. Last year we made pudding from a 13-pounder!
For a delicious pudding, blend in the food processor with vanilla powder, a touch of nutmeg, and honey to taste. A little cacao powder or some brewed coffee or extract is also a great addition. Chill before serving. For ice cream, freeze solid, set out to soften a bit, and then spoon it back into the food processor and re-blend.
Ready to enjoy immediately or within 1-3 days.
